What UND Center for Family Medicine Can Offer You - New family physicians will play a critical and influential role in facing the challenge of providing high quality health care services within a changing delivery system. It is our commitment at the University of North Dakota Center for Family Medicine, Bismarck, to provide our residents an environment in which to learn, to grow, and to meet that challenge.

The curriculum of the residency program is made up of three main components: rotations, lectures, and outpatient clinics. Each year the Center for Family Medicine residency program has made gains in community and faculty support, curriculum development, and quality of educational experience. In addition, more than 100 community faculty participate in the teaching program. These faculty members are enthusiastic about teaching and include representatives of virtually all of the specialties and subspecialties. This is what we can offer you:

• Workplace culture: Academic culture, diversity, opportunities for improvement and more. Employee morale is evident as shown by the dedication and enthusiasm of faculty, residents, and ancillary staff - as well as the commitment of faculty and clinic preceptors.
• Interview & Recruiting: We are here to answer your interview questions following recruitment and questions regarding the hiring process, the community, and more. Our program is well accepted and respected by both hospitals in the community - Medcenter One Health Systems & St. Alexius Medical Center. Having affiliation with two sponsoring hospitals “doubles” your access and choice of attending specialists to choose for your elective rotations.
• Salary & Compensation: Base salaries, benefits and more. The University of North Dakota Center for Family Medicine is a fully accredited residency training facility that has graduated 130 physicians. The center is administered by the University of North Dakota School of Medicine. We are a three-year program and accept five first-year residents annually through the match system.
• Business Outlook: Competitive landscape and more. The community of Bismarck-Mandan combines the progressive technology of a large city with the sincere friendliness of a small town. Rural rotations are available.

We are interested in working with you and look forward to hearing from you. Please feel free to contact us at any time if further information is needed at (701) 751-9500.
