Jackie Quisno

Family Medicine Faculty Physician

Associate Program Director
Dr. Quisno is dedicated to providing care while empowering patients in their own health and well-being.  Growing up on the Fort Belknap Reservation in North Central Montana helped form Dr. Quisno’s interest in Native American health and women’s health, specifically obstetrical care and pediatrics.  A graduate of the University of Washington School of Medicine, Seattle, WA, Dr. Quisno specialized in Family Medicine at the UND Family Practice Center and graduated from the Bismarck Residency Program in 2002. Her most recent practice was with the Federal Government at Standing Rock Indian Health Services (IHS) Hospital in Fort Yates, ND.   Dr. Quisno was recently honored as the 2006 Recipient of the Indian Health Services (IHS) National Director's Award for her dedication to leadership and team motivation. Dr. Quisno is active in the ND Academy of Family Physicians and the American Academy of Family Physicians.   A mother of four children, Dr. Quisno savors time with her family, plus reading, baking and traveling. She looks forward to providing care to UND Center for Family Medicine patients and their families -- and enjoying the area with her own family.   Dr. Quisno is an Assistant Professor in the Clinician Scholar Track at UND and now serves as the Associate Program Director. A new focus for her as a faculty member will be recruitment of residents.  To make an appointment with Dr. Quisno at the UND Center for Family Medicine, please call: (701) 751-9500 or (866) 870-0464.
